Hello To All,
I hope that everyone had a great 4th of July. It was hot and dry here on the Mountain but we had a great time and even watched fireworks off in the distance. Today as I write this we are getting some much need rain. Thank the Lord for that and for knowing what we need and when we need it.
Summer has been going great and a lot of folks are using the facilities. Every day is filled through time for school to start again. God is good!
Remember our ladies retreat Shalom, coming up September 10 – 11. We already have several ladies signed up so don’t wait too long to reserve your spot. If you would like to know more about the retreat give me a call here at the camp, 828-245-0410.
Many of you that have been here this year have asked when we started taking reservations for the next year. I have the 2011 calendar and I am ready to start taking your reservations now. Please remember that any days or weekends when school is out go very fast so speak early to get the time that will work best for you.
I am very happy to tell you that one young lady accepted Christ as her Lord and Savior while here a couple of weeks ago and many youth and adults have made new commitments to Christ. We are so blessed to be a part of His work. Please remember to pray for the ministry here and all those young and old that will come our way. Pray that those who don’t know Christ would come to Him and those that already belong to him might be drawn into a closer walk with Him.
